Howdy everyone. I'm in need of some help and unsure where to turn.

Mom's off her rocker with six cats, two dogs and a filthy house that I can't clean as she is always here. She's retired and never goes anywhere. I don't need help in regards to emptying the house as that was mostly done when I moved back a few years ago. What I am looking for is someone who can come in, look at the place, listen to what I say as I'm the only one who really gets what is going on here and help me do something about the situation.

What needs to be done is beyond my pay grade but I need outside help as my Sister is in denial and won't listen or say anything, let alone do something and my situation is screwed up as well so I can't get out of this house anytime soon.

In other words, something needs to give and since I can't be listened to about anything(family, you know how that can be) someone outside of the family needs to be the one.

I've looked around a little and haven't found anything or anyone specific to Las Vegas. I didn't want to send off emails willy nilly to everyone so I came here thinking maybe someone here would have knowledge of who I could contact to get some help.Might make my job a little easier but I'd like to contact someone local instead of somewhere else in the country if I can.

Anyway, thanks for any help that could be provided.

I cannot speak to specific resources in Las Vegas. Others may have some more specific advice for you.

If you click on the national resources line at the top of the page and go through a couple of map screens clicking on Nevada, you will see some Las Vegas listings.

Here are two links to other posts on the site that will give you some more comments about your situation:
