A good friend of mine is coming here tomorrow for the first time. I sure don't want to say, don't come in. She has been a good friend for many years, and this will be her first time stepping into my home, which is, of course, a cluttered superstar mess. My husband isn't ready to tackle his issues. I am hoping she doesn't ask to see the rest of the house, and that we can leave for our lunch date as soon as she arrives. I am thinking of just being truthful and not trying to hide. It seems the only right way out of this mess. I do have an RV in our driveway that I keep clean and neat. Although the cargo bays underneath it are something I don't want to peer in to anytime soon. I honestly have been thinking of moving into it, until he is ready to get himself together. He has many other issues as well. I'm not confident that he can ever deal with his issues. Would moving into our RV be a better place for me? I am having such a difficult time dealing with the ever present dangers, paths, and emotional draining that comes with this.

Hi Sharon 🙂
Happy we got to talk in chat last night.
Hoping you open up and be honest with your friend today.
The state of the house is not a reflection on you as a person.
I have allowed a few people inside and they can now better understand my struggles of living with a hoarding man.
Keep the RV as your own personal "get away".
A place for you to rest up and gather your thoughts.

Tillie 😀
