Thank you Anonymous,
I myself was married to someone bipolar for 18 years. I tried very hard to get her to take her medications and go to therapy, but she simply refused thinking somehow she could manage it on her own or like many people suffering from this, would take her meds, start to feel better, then stop taking them thinking she was cured. It eventually would be too much for me to handle, and her self medicating became more and more severe leading to drug addiction. I am glad you have come to terms with your bipolar and are on meds. The hoarding is no different and I think you are doing the right thing by keeping a journal and seeking regular therapy. I wish you the best and hope you won't be a stranger here!
