In the Chat Support Group Sunday Night I suggested we come up with some fun theme songs to inspire us when we are tossing things out. "Another One Bites the Dust" Tillie's Theme "If I had a Hammer" and Karl came up with this cleaver version of I get by with a little help from my friends.... What would you think if the clutter's so bad I get by with a little help from my friends. So join in & add some tunes & sing along as you toss out your stuff. and for what it's worth, Raggae music always makes me smile if I'm having a down day.

I heard this song on the shuffle on my iPod just as I was getting out the shower. The words really hit home with me. I am really trying to embrace the NOW & not beat myself up for letting things get bad and what I have not done in the past. I am working on my "NOW" as I "Breath In, Breath Out, & Move On." "Breathe In, Breathe Out, Move On" I bought a cheap watch from a crazy man And it rained, It was nothing really new If a hurricane doesn't leave you dead [Guitar Solo] And it rained, It was nothing really new According to my watch the time is now Don't try to shake it just bow your head

I listen to every genre of music; whether it's rock or hip-hop or R&B or pop or country or reggae. I listen to it all. I listen to everything from Metallica to Jay-Z to Rascal Flatts to Britney Spears to Michael Jackson to Johnny Cash to The Rolling Stones to The Beatles to Marvin Gaye to Bob Marley and a lot more. So yeah, no genre is off limits for me. 🙂

I tend to listen to slow sad songs hahaha but in a way it reflects the difficulty I associate with throwing things out and I can have a good cry, also cathartic

In a week the guys and I will be going to Los Angeles to do a major clean-up. And this will be our theme song while we are in Los Angeles. The song is called "The City Is Ours" by Big Time Rush. 🙂 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2k-BxdNKtzE Here are the lyrics to "The City Is Ours": The city is ours! Rolling past graffiti walls Got a whole crew by my side We pull up, open the door Here we come, it's almost time Because the night is young Live it up until the morning comes My, my look how we roll Now we're here, like, yeah, we told ya! We pull up, open the door Here we come, it's almost time Because the night is young Live it up until the morning comes We gotta believe, it's destiny calling Because the night is young Live it up until the morning comes Because the night is young Live it up until the morning comes

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY EVERYONE!!!!! 🙂 This song is dedicated to everyone who struggles with hoarding...because baby YOU'RE A FIREWORK! 😀 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3P9fyJEu6E "FIREWORK" by Katy Perry Do you ever feel like a plastic bag Do you ever feel already buried deep? You just gotta ignite the light, and let it shine Because baby you're a firework Baby, you're a firework You don't have to feel like a wasted space Maybe your reason why all the doors are closed You just gotta ignite the light, and let it shine Because baby you're a firework Baby, you're a firework Boom, boom, boom Because baby you're a firework Baby, you're a firework Boom, boom, boom

first time I opened this and it was so fun reading what you clever folks came up with, I am going to start listening to the words of songs, usually listen to music and don't pay attention to words, just enjoy the tunes, this is very clever. Thanks

Ok, so here is the song that I tried to post earlier today, in the wee hours of the morning. 🙂 The song is called "March Out of the Darkness" and it is by the band "Papa Roach". 🙂 Here are the lyrics: It feels like the end of the world Isolated, separated We march out of the darkness And the only thing that will set us free It feels like I'm still in a cage I'm ready, I'm willing We march out of the darkness And the only thing that will set us free And it's okay, it's alright We march out of the darkness And the only thing that will set us free And it's okay, it's alright It's okay, it's alright http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iji1wQtglyA

I think a good song to listen to while cleaning a hoard is, "Crying Out" by the band "Shinedown". 🙂 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFxmONcRQTo I know if I ever get my own tv show about helping hoarders, then I want the song "Crying Out" to be the theme song for my tv show. 🙂 Here are the lyrics to "Crying Out": Don't use a weakness, don't change the subject Reinvent yourself today Cryin' out for the last time What guides your vision? Reinvent yourself today Cryin' out for the last time There is no turning back now Cryin' out for the last time Cryin' out, crying for the last time
