Hey guys.

I'm panting right now. Any time I tackle my stuff it gives me panic attacks, sometimes I cry. I start logically with a goal in mind (example: Go through the extra bed sheets and blankets and throw what I don't need out), but the second I try to steer towards a new topic to sort through I lose all logic. I start hearing myself think things like "I need to keep this in case the other one breaks!".

I'm taking a break, trying to refocus on my end goal, and calm my beating heart.

I wish I could talk to someone about this though. Can't afford to hire anyone. I don't even think I'm searching for advice (though I always appreciate it). I think I just want to talk... to not be alone while I panic through this.

I know how you feel. I freeze and don't know what to do next. Then I watch my favorite shows to avoid cleaning.

No -- not alone at all.

I am still new at getting rid of my stuff, so I feel very incapable of advising. I can only write what is working/not working for me. 🙂

Hi Jane 🙂

Come up and post in "The Daily Chat" thread.
That is where we all tell about what we are doing and going through every day.
I find that just writing down my feelings really does help get me through the tough spots.
A good book to read is called
"Buried In Treasures".
It can help with dealing with your letting things go anxieties.
So, take a deep breath, drink some water, and know you are not alone. 🙂
