Friend is a recovered hoarder, but now cannot find a charity to pick up his things in No. Virginia. Cannot afford to pay hundreds of $ to Junk Co to haul away. | |

Have the charities take what they will. Maybe when they get there, they will take more. Where is it now? Can he put it (or some of it) near the road with a "FREE STUFF" sign on it? Some areas have "freecycle" boards or email list. | |

Put an Ad on Craigs List if you have one in your area under the FREE Section, such as, bunch of clothing, load of toys, great for anyone who does Ebay or sells at a Swap Meet and you can either just put the address or get people to e-mail and then let the 1st person know where the stuff is at. Then, no need for a truck. | |

I should tell you he has LOTS of stuff and he told me the charities will not take but 2-3 bags. He said he needs very BIG truck. | |
