I live/own a small 2 bedroom condo on the 2nd floor. I have just realized that I am a hoarder. I used to just think it was clutter and that I was a terrible cleaner. But it's more than that. I don't think I've "cleaned" in over 10 years. I just got notification that they are fumigating our buildings for termites in a month. They have to walk through my condo......I am so afraid that they will tell our property management company (I just happen to work for them....so I'm afraid everyone at work will know my "secret"). I am paralyzed by anxiety. When I am not here, I think of all the things I need to do/clean but when I get home, I am so overwhelmed and will fill up one trash bag and then climb in bed. After researching a bit, I think my only option is to call a clean up crew. On average, how long would it take a crew to help? I'm so afraid of my family finding out...or my co-workers/friends. This is all my fault..why can't I get up and just throw everything out??? I take one bag out to the dumpster in the morning when I leave for work and am worn out. | |

Ok....so I've been working super hard to clean...I've thrown out almost everything. I have piles in a few places...but only have 5 more days til the termite people tent our condos. They say they just walk through before and after tenting. My floors and walls are filthy. I've been doing a little every day. sometimes, its just scrubbing a square of tile....I totally see a difference...but THEY will walk in and think it's filthy. I'm kind of giving up...just going to wait for a phone call from them.... | |
