So very sorry to hear about your Nephew.
I really have no idea what you can do to help him in this circumstance.
Perhaps those social workers in health care can help.
Find out if they can get some literature about just what a cancer patient needs.
There must be a certain level of cleanliness for them to be living in.
They are very susceptible to bacteria and viruses.
There must be clear space for them to easily get around the home.
Access to the bathroom, kitchen and their bed and favorite couch/chair.
There must also be enough access to the doors and through the house for emergency workers to get through with a stretcher should he need to take an ambulance to the hospital during a crisis.
