Options for Selling Hoarder House

My parents suffer from extreme hoarding and we are moving them out of their house. What options do we have for their house, which they have owned for 40 years and no longer pay a mortgage on? It is not in livable condition--it is in complete disrepair, animal feces throughout, and is full of black mold. Even after we clear out the house, there is no way anyone would buy it. Is it something we would seek out an investor for who would buy the property as is and build on the lot? Does anyone have any experience with what to do with a hoarder's house after the move out? thanks!!

You could contact a real estate agent and ask them if they knew any agents with experience dealing with these kinds of properties.

If the house is located in a desirable area
someone may be very happy to buy it and raze it just for the lot.

My family got a permit from the fire department to burn my great grandparents home (sometimes the fire department will do it as an exercise) and then sold the land.

It was one of the things that helped me realize I had to change....
