I am moving my parents from one apartment to another in next 2 weeks. They are both 82 and I am the only child. My mother is a level 2 hoarder. I am trying to control what is moved and plan to throw things away as they are put in boxes. My boyfriend is helping me but I am getting nervous and my mother's anxiety level is spiraling out of control as the move date gets closer. I have not sougnt professional help previously as I thought I could do it this way. Did I mention that my father suffers from paranoid schitzophrenia and needs to be put back on medication....he stopped taking it several years ago and the only way to get him back on is to have him forceably committed. My mother wants to wait until they are in the new place before we do this....so right now I first have to deal with her hoarding disorder. HELP PLEASE! I live in Pompano Beach FL. this is not a joke but real. I just left 2 messages for OCD doctors that I found on this website. | |
