I am a hoarder in Syracuse NY and would like to meet other hoarders near me for friendship and support. Would like to work on declutter projects together and maybe do some social activities together as my hoarding has isolated me from people. Wondering if there are others in the area who feel the same and might be interested in getting together. | |

Hi Lue, It's a wonderful idea to try and get an in-person hoarders support group going. You may find some people by contacting OCD/hoarding therapists in your area and asking them to let their clients know and see if they'd be interested. Of course you are always welcome to join in here. As hoarders we have all isolated ourselves to some extent. Online relationships can be extremely helpful in making people feel understood and accepted. We support and encourage each other no matter what the level of mess.
