That is- until I found this hoard board today 😛 I've struggled my whole life with pack rat tendencies, but it has escalated big time the last couple of years after a rash of major life events. I have ADD (diagnosed) along with OCD/PTSD traits and chronic exhaustion and have felt my self losing the war on what I'm finally willing to admit, is hoarding. Thankfully, after reading around today, I see that everyone is here to work on their struggle and support one another in doing so. Your successes, even the very tiniest ones are giving me hope. Hi and welcome, SFDaze. Tonight is a meeting of the online support group if you care to drop in. You don't have to participate beyond saying hi or you can share your story or concerns. I think that folks get up to 15 min each as needed. You are NOT alone. Come over to the Daily board and you'll find others who share your diagnoses and concerns. You can also check on the National Resources board to see if there is help in your area of whatever type you need. | |
