Hi. I'm a teenager who has always struggled with hoarding. My room is a disaster, and every time I try to clean it just becomes bad again. My grandmother is similar to me in this regard, and it distresses my mom immensely that I am like her. Recently, she finally broke. She told me she wouldn't speak to me again until I cleaned it all, and that if I didn't she'd just throw everything away when I go to college in two months. I am terrified she will do that, but I can't clean my room. What on earth do I do???
