I have a friend living in another state who is a hoarder. We met online and became very close. We used to communicate almost every day, even after he told me his situation.

I care deeply about this person, and am very heartbroken that
There is no communication anymore. I have sent little gifts, with no response. I tried to visit last summer, knowing he would't allow me in his house. I really didn't care, I was happy to give him a hug.

It was a surprise visit, which I suppose made matters worse. I just want to know whether there is a chance we'll be in touch again. Thanks
